How to make noodles with garlic and ginger

This is how to prepare indomie noodles with garlic ginger and turmeric.  I say indomie noodle because that is the popular noodle brand in Nigeria.

That doesn’t mean that only indomie can be cooked using my recipe.  Any brand of noodles can be deliciously cooked with the addition of the superfoods garlic, ginger, and turmeric.

If there was ever a time in life, that we all needed to get our foods fortified with super nutrients, that time is now. It is now that our kids and families need to be fed foods rich in disease-fighting nutrients.

Garlic and ginger are so powerful and I’m so happy that this recipe not only makes our regular noodles super powerful and strong. It is also very very delicious to eat. Easy to cook too.

It never occurred to me to make a post and share this recipe with the world until this morning.

Because of the garlic, I never offered this particular noodle dish to my boy until today. After I served him one pack of noodles as usual.

My baby cleared his plate and asked for more.  Because he can’t stand spicy foods I didn’t add the chili powder but he couldn’t detect the hotness of garlic in there.

While making a second round for him, I  decided to increase into 2 packs of indomie noodles and to film the process of making it.

I trust that whoever tries my recipe for noodles with garlic, ginger and turmeric will get stuck and that’s why I’m sharing it with you today.

The taste of garlic and ginger in noodles plus the method we used in cooking this recipe will make you love it like you are just eating good noodles for the very first time.

 

INGREDIENTS TO MAKE NOODLES WITH GARLIC GINGER AND TURMERIC

  • 2 packs of noodles as shown in the video above.
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped ginger.
  • Two teaspoons chopped garlic.
  • 1/3 or 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder ( Very optional).
  • 2 cups of water.
  • Seasoning powder
  • A small slice of green pepper (optional)
  • A tablespoon of diced carrots will be great but I can’t find any carrots in the fridge today.
  • 2 tablespoons of diced onion or less.

WWhy green pepper is optional,  turmeric very  optional because I don’t add these two ingredients when I make garlic and ginger noodles for self.

I actually prefer mine without them, but some members of my family love that bright  colour and the green pepper in their noodles.

If your kids love to eat noodles too, teach them this simple method.  It will help make their noodle meals more nourishing.

HOW TO PREPARE DELICIOUS INDOMIE NOODLES WITH GARLIC GINGER AND TURMERIC

Here is my simple recipe to make noodles with the best ingredients also known as superfoods.

With the many diseases and we all trying to keep our immune systems super and to eat healthy, this recipe for noodles is the best you have come across so far.  You will love the fact that you don’t have to chew the pieces of garlic and ginger while eating.

Here is my recipe for the best noodles I ever tasted.  This is how even my teenagers have started to make their noodles meals:

  1. Wash and chop the vegetables ready for cooking.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger with the water into a pot and bring to a slow boil.With a sieve, drain out the garlic and ginger pieces from the garlic tea so to speak…
  3. Use that stock or whatever you’ll like to call it. I call the stock garlic ginger tea. Lol. Pour it back into the pot and bring again to a boil.
  4. Once it starts boiling, add the turmeric powder and noodles,  and the remaining ingredients. Stir and cover to cook. Noodles take at most 6 minutes or less to cook.
  5. Check, see how the flavour is out of this world? What about the aroma in your kitchen making it seem like you are cooking some 5 star hotel food. Now serve your noodles cooked with garlic, ginger and turmeric.  Serve hot and enjoy immediately.

Method 2

This second procedure of cooking indomie noodles with garlic and ginger is faster than the other.  This method is easier too.

  • Here you just add the seasoning powder, onion noodles the boiling pot of garlic and ginger.
  • Let cook together till the noodles done cooking in bout 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Pick out the pieces of ginger serving. Do not the cooked food with the ginger slices.
  •  This second method works when you a just a pack or two and not a gigantic of noodles.
